Buxton (1)
A bright sunny morning in February half term was a good opportunity for a country walk.
Our chosen destination was Buxton, where we walked to the Solomon's Temple viewpoint
on the top of Grinlow (435m; 1426 feet). It was a cold day anyway, and on top of the hill
it was even colder, with an icy wind as well.
Here's a view over Buxton, with Combs Moss to the left behind the town, and in the distance
Rushup Edge. The hill sticking up above the horizon towards the right is Mam Tor.
