Ramsden Reservoir (2)

There are walks around Ramsden Reservoir and up onto the surrounding moors. This view looking back down the reservoir is taken from one of the tracks through the woods.

On the hillside to the left is Holme village, the last settlement on the road out of the Holme valley as it climbs steeply up to Holme Moss. On the other side the road drops down to the Woodhead Pass as it runs down Longdendale.
