Settle area (1)

Settle is a market town in the west of Yorkshire. Most of the county is to the east of the Pennines, with rivers flowing into the North Sea, but Settle is in Ribblesdale and its river (the Ribble) flows into the Irish Sea.

This is the Market Square, overlooked by Castleberg Crag. When we visited, the paths to the summit were closed, so we went for a walk to Langcliffe instead.
